Four armed men got their accomplice freed from police custody after they attacked a police team on GT Road near Mauza Thekerian, in broad daylight, here the other day.
The proclaimed offender is involved in murder case of Syed Mohsin Shah, brother of former MNA Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah.
As per detail, Police ASI Munir Ahmed along with three constables was going to Karian court to the get accused’s physical remand. When the police car reached near Mauza Thekerian, on GT Road, a white car without number plate intercepted the police car. The four car riders came out from the car and got released Aamer Shah at gunpoint.
The accused was arrested by the Civil Lines Police a few days back and later was handed over to Lalamusa Saddr Police for further investigation.
However, the police parties are raiding possible hideouts of the accused to arrest them.
