PIA plane makes emergency landing after being hit by bird

ISLAMABAD: A passenger plane (PK-612) made a narrow escape after a bird hit the plane just before the plane landed at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

Although the plane developed a fault after being hit by the bird, the pilot landed the aircraft safely and all passengers remained unhurt, who were exited safely.

According to the airport authorities, the plane was coming from Dubai and was supposed to fly back to Dubai.

“The accident has rendered the plane unfit for flying at the moment,” the airport authorities said, adding that repair work was under way.

The authorities said that the passengers, who were supposed to be going to Dubai in the same plane, will be sent through another plane at 4pm.
