Imran seeks end to KP discretionary funds

ISLAMABAD - Chairman PTI Imran Khan Wednesday urged Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to put a stop to all discretionary funds that were disbursed from taxpayers’ money.
In a statement issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Central Secretariat, Khan said that the CM should put an end to this practice of discretionary powers and discretionary funds for all - from CM himself to ministers and bureaucrats. He stated that every rupee spent from taxpayers’ money by the government should be audited for greater transparency and accountability in governance. Khan said that he hoped the PTI-led KP government would once again lead the way, as it was doing in so many other fields of governance.
