PESHAWAR - Condemning the recent bombing in Islamabad Fruit Mandi and Sibi Railway station, spokesman Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Shahidullah Shahid said that Islam does not allow killing of innocent people.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that from the very beginning they are against such attacks in which innocent people have been killed and we always denied involvement in the killing of innocent people.
He said that certain elements want to defame Taliban and there are some hidden hands who are involved in carrying out these attacks against common people.
He said that several time terrorist attacks were launched in Lahore and Peshawar and later Taliban were blamed for launching these attacks.
He said that Taliban are fully respecting ceasefire agreement and nobody can blame them for violating ceasefire truce and media knows very well that Taliban are abiding by the agreement.
Meanwhile, member of Taliban Peace Committee and Provincial Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Ibrahim also condemned Islamabad blast and termed it an attempt to sabotage the ongoing peace process.
He said that peace agreement with Taliban is still intact and they are optimistic that this ceasefire agreement would be extended for couple of months.
Professor Ibrahim said that it is not known that who are involved in these attacks but it is responsibility of the government to uncover those hidden hands, who are involved in the killing of the innocent people.
