ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) informed Rawalpindi District Coordination Officer (DCO) about the party rally that shall head from Rawalpindi to Islamabad on August 13.

The party demanded appropriate security and traffic measures to be taken for the rally through the letter.

The letter was written by PTI Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Rashid Hafeez. Rawalpindi DCO was informed about the party’s rally that shall be led by party chairman Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen, Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The rally shall take place to highlight the corruption and terrorism prevailing in the country.

It was mentioned in the letter that the rally shall head towards the capital after starting from Marir Chowk and passing from Liaquat Bagh, Committee Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Shamsabad, Faizabad, Islamabad Expressway and Faisal Avenue.

Appropriate security and traffic measures for the rally were demanded by the local administration through the letter.
