LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri Saturday said that the Panamagate issue is being buried once and for all as the case is being wrapped up in shroud.
“It is snub to the Parliament to call the prime minister’s speech political,” he said while talking to media after convocation of his university adding that “the statement by the PM’s counsel is an abundant proof that system has failed.”
The contradictions in the statements by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has sufficiently been proved, he clarified, adding Panama Leaks case will commit a suicide if an inquiry commission is formed on the issue.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri called the democracy prevalent in the country as monarchy, as according to him, neither elections were held here nor is it any constitutional government.
“We will continue protesting over Model Town tragedy and proceed with the protest against the June 17 carnage in complete accordance with our strategy,” he elaborated.
Responding to a query if he has any plan for a protest demonstration, he said, “I do not want to waste energy of my workers on an inopportune time.”
