OKARA - The district administration has called on the people to cooperate with the Health Department to eradicate polio and measles from the society.  Presiding over a meeting of Polio Eradication Committee at this office, District Coordination Officer Gulzar Hussain directed the officials to educate the people about the diseases through cable networks and other means like announcement on loudspeakers in mosques.
The DCO said apart from urban localities, vaccines also be administered to children living in far flung villages. He stressed the need for taking security measures for the health teams. In the meeting, the EDO Health briefed the DCO about the steps taken by the Health Department for the eradication of polio and measles. On the occasion, the DIO said.
 that awareness was being spread against polio and measles.
