Pakistan approves release of Indian fishermen

Karachi- The Interior Ministry has approved release of at least 172 Indian fishermen who are currently in Landhi Jail.
According to the details, the fishermen are likely to be released during the second week of February. According to the sources, the Interior Ministry has informed the Interior Department Sindh regarding the matter. However, the jail authorities have confirmed that the Interior Ministry has issued directives to release at least 172 Indian fishermen but they have not yet received official orders. The jail authorities are awaiting orders and will release the fishermen after confirmation.
