BANNU- Five persons were injured and a vehicle was destroyed when the explosives fixed in a motorcycle went off with a blast in Bannu today.

According to our sources, explosion occurred near a bank on Railway Road when a bomb attached to a motorcycle went off. Five persons sustained injuries in the calamity and were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital. Three were said to be in critical condition.

A vehicle belonging to Khasadar Force, parked near the blast site was destroyed while the windows of nearby shops were also smashed due to the intense impact.

Police cordoned off the blast site and launched investigation into the attack. They further told that the blast targeted the Khasadar Force vehicle.
