General Raheel recommends civil-military approach in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif was briefed on the security situation of Balochistan in Quetta today. According to ISPR, COAS General Raheel agreed on a combined civil-military approach for security and development in Balochistan.

According to ISPR, Balochistan’s law and order situation has significantly improved due to the targeted operations by FC and police.

The army chief praised the law enforcement agencies for bringing noticeable improvements, which he believes can help Balochistan become a regional hub for energy and trade.

He also welcomed those militants who laid down arms and assured support for their rehabilitation.

 General Raheel also appreciated FWO for initiating road network across Balochistan.
