Govt targeted for ignoring masses



PESHAWAR - The Khaksar Tehreek on Saturday demanded of the coalition government in Islamabad to take practical steps for the stability of the state and safeguard the national interests.
Addressing a news conference on Saturday here at the Press Club, TKK movement patron-in-chief Dr Sabiha Al-Mashriqi alleged that the incumbent government by following the policies of former president Pervez Musharraf has pushed the country into the quagmire.
Owing to the deteriorated law and order situation in the country, she said that anarchy-like situation in the country is being created in the country. The innocent people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Balochistan and Karachi were being mercilessly targeted in bomb blasts, target killing and sectarian violence, she maintained.
Dr Sabiha further said that the price hike of daily commodities, excessive loadshedding, worsening law and order situation and kidnapping for ransom are the problems that have made the lives of the masses miserable. But the government didn’t concern of these issues. Though there country is full of numerous natural resources, but despite that no solid steps were taken, she said.
She said that dictatorial and landlordism-led democracy has completely failed in the country and it is time to save the country by establishing a pro-poor government in country. She also demanded arrest of the former dictator Pervez Musharraf and release of Dr Afia from the UD detention.
