Gujranwala
PML N leader Hamza Shahbaz said that people will bury the negative politics of PTI chairman Imran Khan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had taken bold steps to root out terrorism from the country.
Addressing a public meeting regarding by-election of NA-101 to be held on 22nd of March at Ali Pur Chatha Gujranwala, he said that projects like Metro Bus and Orange Train shall provide modern transport facilities to the people. PTI’s politics had harmed national interests while the present government had stabilised the economy, he claimed.
Hamza said that the “large” public meeting had given a clear message to PTI leader Imran Khan that the public had rejected the ‘unconstitutional’ and ‘undemocratic’ attitude of Imran who, he alleged, was leveling allegations against government and its all institutions. Hamza termed the contest in NA-101 a match between “national progress and investment, and politics of sit-ins”. He said the PML-N candidate Iftikhar Cheema will be the winner in this contest and if the former cricketer had any sportsman spirit left, he should be ready to accept defeat on 22nd of March.
