Nawaz wants to derail democracy: Wattoo

OKARA - Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said that Nawaz Sharif wanted to derail the democratic process but the PPP will not let this happen.
“If Sharif Brothers come out for long march, the people will not pay heed to their call. We know how to face political challenges and how to defend democracy. PPP will continue policy of reconciliation. Yousaf Raza Gilani is the constitutional prime minister. It does not matter whether Nawaz Sharif accepts this fact or not,” the minister said while talking to party workers at Wasawey Wala. “Gilani has a right for appeal and he will not tender resignation on anyone’s demand.”
Wattoo said that drone attacks in Northern Waziristan were condemned by the government. Pakistan has strongly protested against such attacks. “This is violation of International law and can hurt bilateral relations. He said a National Assembly resolution has been passed on creation of Seraiki province and the bill has also been sent to Punjab Assembly,” he said.
