RAWALPINDI: General John Nicholson, Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif today, at GHQ.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including border coordination mechanism along Pak-Afghanistan border and security situation in Afghanistan were discussed.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged the far reaching effects of operation Zarb-e-Azb and lauded the role of Pakistan Army, for bringing peace and stability in the region.
