ISLAMABAD- National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has summoned 11 members of the Assembly including Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to NA Secretariat till October 15, 2014, for verification of their resignations.

According to NA Secretariat, on Oct 13 Murad Saeed of NA 29, Junaid Akbar of NA 35, Ghulam Sarwar Khan of NA 53 and PTI Chairman Imran Khan of NA 56 have been summoned.

On Oct 14, Amjad Ali Khan from NA 72, Shafqat Mehmood NA 126, Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan from NA 162 and on Oct 15 members on special seats Nafeesa Inayat Khattak, Aisha Gulalai and Minority member Lal Chand Malhai have been issued summon notices. So far no member of PTI has appeared before Speaker NA for verification of resignations.
