MULTAN - PML-N Youth Wing Punjab President Abid Sher Ali has accused the government of evolving a pre-poll rigging plan, claiming that the PPP wants to sabotage electoral system by bringing its own people forth.Addressing a news conference here on Saturday night, he added that the PML-N would foil all conspiracies against the upcoming general elections. He told the journalists that the government was planning to introduce a new accountability bill with the help of which President Zardari would be cleared of all corruption cases. “Our party will not only block this bill in the assembly but also besiege the Presidency,” he declared. He said that the PML-N demanded initiation of accountability from 1985 but the government stressed to start the process from 2012. “It’s because they want to protect those who looted PIA, Railways, Pakistan Steel Mills and national exchequer,” he claimed. He alleged that each son of former premier Gilani cost nation Rs50 billion.To a query, he said that the federal government ruined Punjab’s industry by giving its electricity to other provinces. He asked the government to refrain from spreading the poison of provincialism. He suggested to the government to supply electricity only to those who paid the bills.Referring to judiciary, he warned that his party would chop off all those fingers being pointed at the judiciary. He added that PML-N would defend independence of judiciary at all costs. He lashed out at PTI President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and said that he stabbed the party in the back. He said that the party extended massive financial support to him at different times.Earlier, a close aide to PPP’s MNA Jamshed Dasti namely Zulfiqar Dogar announced to join PML-N in presence of Abid Sher Ali and Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmad Khan.
