Two wedding guests die in Sargodha crash

SARGODHA/SHEIKHUPURA/MULTAN/TOBA TEK SINGH/SAHIWAL - Six persons including two women were killed and 27 others injured in different incidents of violence and other mishaps in various areas.
According to details, two persons were killed and 24 other injured when vans carrying wedding guests collided on Lahore-Sargodha by pass road on Thursday. As per details, the wedding procession was on the way to Faisalabad from Kundian Mianwali in two separate vans. In the meanwhile, both the vans collided due to speeding. Resultantly, two persons died instantly while 24 others injured and were shifted to DHQ Hospital.
In Multan, a youth and his beloved teenage girl committed suicide after they failed to contract a free-will marriage.
The couple was found dead in fields of a village on the outskirts of Multan. According to the family, the couple committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance.
Locals told the media that the youth and girl loved each other and were wanted to marry but their families refused the proposal. Dejected over their families opposition, the couple committed suicide together.
Similarly in Sheikhupura, a labourer was killed and two others sustained injuries when a compressor exploded in a plastic factory in Khanpur area here on Thursday.
According to Rescue sources, a compressor exploded at a plastic factory, claiming the life of a labourer and injuring two others.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
On information, the police reached the scene and started investigation.
In another incident occurred in Toba Tek Singh, a boy allegedly murdered his lover in Kamalia and injured her mother over her refusal to go with the accused.
Accused 25-year-old Imran came to Mauza Kodh and asked his lover Nadia to go with him but she refused. At which Imran flared up and opened fire, killing the girl on the spot while her mother was critically injured. She was admitted to Kamalia THQ Hospital.
Meanwhile, in Sahiwal, a youth was killed in a road mishap here near Chak 87/6-R in the remit of Fareed Town Police. As per details, Tariq Zia, Deputy Medical Assistant was late from his duty and was riding his motorcycle rashly. When he reached near Chak 87/6-R he lost control of the motorcycle due speeding and dashed into a car coming from the opposite direction. Resultantly he sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
