KHANEWAL-Assistant Commissioner Abid Hussain Bhatti and Executive District Officer (EDO) Education Ramzam Anjum has cancelled the registration of Missali Zakriya School in Tariqabad near New Sabzi Mandi Khanewal following the murder of a class 5th student.
As per details, the deceased student namely 12-year-old Talha, son of Muhammad Arshad, a resident of Block no-2 was murdered by a schoolteacher identified as Muhammad Ishaq after sexual abuse with the help of school branch Principal Muhammad Kashif.
The student and teacher unions, lawyers, traders, civil society activists, religious parties and leaders have condemned the sad incident and demanded the Punjab chief minister to take stern action against the accused and cancel registration of Missali Zakriya School, all related branches throughout the district.
