Islamabad- All the arrangements have been completed for tackling with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’sAzadi March and AwamiTehreek’sInqlab March in the federal capital.
Sources revealed that implementation has been started on joint planning of Federal and Punjab Police, a large amount of containers have been collected near Tarnol, Peshawar road,Golrah, IJ Principle road, Faizabad, Islamabad Express Way, Kashmir Highway, SarenaChowk, NADRA Chowk and other main roads, however main highways have not been closed and traffic is in flow.
For securing the Red Zone some service roads and roads leading to Diplomatic Enclave have been sealed with 8 feet deep dig outs excavated in areas where containers cannot be placed. It is planned that about 72 entrance points will be sealed on August 12 to prevent the participants of Azadi March reaching the Blue Rea, and they will be directed to F-9 Park after security check.
Special Strike Force has been deputed on entrance points of Islamabad to tackle any uncertain situation.
Article 144 has been imposed in the Twin cities while many petrol pumps and CNG stations remained closed. The Poly Clinic and PIMS hospital have been out on high alert to deal with any emergency situation and holidays of the staff have been cancelled.

Federal and Punjab governments have issued arrest warrants to all Police stations for arresting the active workers, members of assembly and leaders after which Police have started the crackdown and is conducting raids against Tehreek-e-Insafleaders while workers have gone underground to escape arrests.
