LAHORE - A joint investigation team (JIT) has been formed to investigate the Kasur child abuse scandal.
According to a private TV channel, this JIT will be headed by DIG Abubakar Khuda Bakhsh with SP Khalid Shabbir Cheema and DSP Liaquat Ali as its members. The JIT will also include officers from intelligence agencies. This team, after investigating the incident, will submit its report in court within two weeks.
The JIT has been directed to investigate all FIRs relating to the incident.
