ISLAMABAD - Commodore Iftikhar Ahmed Qureshi SI(M) has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral and appointed as Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (Supply) with immediate effect. Rear Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Qureshi was commissioned in Pakistan Navy in December 1979 in the supply branch and has held various Staff Appointments at NHQ as Director Aviation Stores, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Works) and Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Supply). He also commanded Naval Stores Depot and served as Director Joint Log Plans (N) at JSHQ and Attache Defence Procurement (London). The Flag Officer is a graduate of Naval Staff College and National Security and War Course from National Defence University Islamabad. He also holds master degree in IR and LLB.
