‘PPP hell bent on looting country’


SADIQABAD - The Punjab chief minister is paying special attention to eliminate crime and provide protection to the people’s lives and property across Punjab province especially in South Punjab, claimed the PML-N Rahim Yar Khan City president.
Muhammad Amir Shahbaz during his visit to various areas including Mad Darbari, Shafiq Town and Azam Town told the local people that CM Shahbaz Sharif was desirous of ensuring peace across the Punjab by making the areas free from criminal activities. For this purpose, he said, the CM had spent a huge amount besides taking practical steps in this regard.
“The Punjab government is trying to resolve the people’s problems. The federal rulers are hell bent on looting the national exchequer and they have turned a deaf ear to the people’s grievances,” he said. He also urged the people to support his party in the forthcoming general elections.
LEADERS JOIN PML-N: A number of politicians including Chaudhry Ali Haidar and Muhammad Ashraf from Sultan Town here have joined the PML-N during a meeting because of “performance of MPA M Shafiq” in his constituency.
On the occasion, Abdul Saboor, Abdul Razzaq, Azhar Shafiq, Imran, Zafar Iqbal and Faisal were also present. Abdul Razzaq said that the MPA completed a sewerage project worth tens of millions of rupees and Insha’Allah road and water projects would be started soon.
He added that the government had spent all the funds and the remaining projects would be completed when the new government would provide funds for completion of the projects after elections.
VISIT: PML-N Secretary General Shahzad Ahmad said that Captain (r) Safdar will visit Sadiqabad in the next month to participate in a youth convention. He said that every PML-N Youth Wing activist will keep on playing his role for the integrity and stability of the country.
