TOBA TEK SINGH - The Awami Jamhoori Party (AJP) observed Anti-Feudalism Day here the other day.
The AJP activists took out a rally and marched on Jhang Road chanting slogans against the feudalism in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, AJP District Central Committee Member Ch Fateh Muhammad, Ch Muhammad Zubair, Tariq Mahmood and Ch Muhammad Sarwar said that feudalism was the real cause of all problems including corruption and warned that if it was not eliminated the corrupt politician would continue to rule the country.
They said that feudal lords always thought about their own interests and they kept changing political parties to remain in power. They urged the people to reject the feudal lords in the up-coming general elections and vote for the real representative of the people who could change the present system that was based on capitalism and feudalism.
Two robbed of valuables: Dacoits deprived two men of cash and cellphones near Chak 338-GB here the other day.
Reportedly, Nasir Gadhi and Ijaz Ahmad were on the way from Nagra to their village. When reached near Chak 338-GB, three armed men intercepted them and snatched cash amounting to Rs 6,000 and cellphones from them.
