Former President and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Pervaiz Musharraf has been admitted to a private hospital, Waqt News reported. According to reports he has been admitted owing to high blood pressure.
According to doctors Musharraf's blood pressure shoots but he will be discharged from the hospital soon.
“He is going to be fine,” one of the doctors said.
Musharraf's heart condition and spinal cord ailment have been cited by his defence counsel in high treason case. His health issues have prevented him from appearing in court, according to his lawyers.
Last month the former army chief was acquitted by an Anti-Terrorism Court in the Akbar Bugti murder case.
