BUREWALA - Model Town Police have arrested a drug pusher and recovered huge quantity of the fake imported liquor from his possession, disclosed DSP Muhammad Saleem Khan Niazi in a press conference here on Tuesday.
DSP Saleem Khan informed the media that after increasing number of deaths due to poisonous liquor in the province, Inspector General Police have directed the police to take vigorous actions against drug peddlers involved in this kind of business.
The DPO said Vehari DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi advised the local police to apprehend such elements. In view of these direction special task was given to the police and Model Town SHO Syed Shah Abbass, City SHO Ishaq Sial and other officials including SI Sawar Khan, Muhafiz constables Bilal Ahmad, Intizar Ahmad arrested a famous drug peddler Shahzad alias Kaka, resident of O-Block Burewala, and recovered huge amount of fake imported liquor and other equipment from his possession.

Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajraan District President Muhammad Jameel Bhatti, Sheikh Nisar Waqar, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Manzoor Brakat, Malik Muhammad Hanif, Noor Ahmad Bhatti and others were present at the press conference.
