ISLAMABAD - Chairman Mushaik Ulema Council Pakistan, Sahibzada Fiazul Hasan, on Thursday said that they strongly reject the long march-led by Chairman TMQ Dr Tahirul Qadri.
This he said talking to the media, after reviewing the ongoing situation of country with other members of ‘Mashaikh Ulema Council Pakistan’. The council stressed the need to organise upcoming elections in time for the sovereignty of the country.
“There is no need to support any movement which cause delay in upcoming elections,” said a statement, adding that the constitution of the country under article 62 and 63 has clearly explained electoral process and eligibility of candidates and this is enough to hold upcoming polls.
The joint statement says the movement of freedom for Kashmir is not only Islamic but also according to international rules. It should be resolved as per the resolution of UN. If any one declare it un-Islamic than it should condemned. The conference was attended by Pir M Ameen-ul-Hasnat, Maulana Ghulam M Sialvi, Pir Mehfoz Shah, Mufti Intakhab Ahmad, Dr Raghib Hussain , Sardar M Khan Leghari, Maulana Abdul Hameed Barkati and other.
