SARGODHA: The newly-elected office bearers of the District Bar Association announced protest against police over an FIR registered against lawyers on charges of aerial firing.
President-elect of the DBA President Khudadad Kalyar and General Secretary Shehzad Ahmed Warraich alleged that the police have implicated the lawyers in a false case. They also announced that the DBA would boycott courts against the police action on Monday (today). They claimed that no lawyer has resorted to aerial firing during celebration of victory in DBA election. They declared that the registration of FIR against the lawyers is wrong and tantamount to injustice, demanding its immediate withdrawal.–Staff Reporter
