PESHAWAR- Security forces have arrested four suspected militants in Jamrud tehsil of the Khyber tribal region during a search operation today.

Upon receiving a tip-off regarding suspected militants present in that area, a joint team of personnel from the Khasadar force and the Frontier Corps (FC) conducted a raid in the locality.

The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation; however the search operation is still underway.

The exercise was conducted in light of the frequent incidents of targeted killing, kidnapping for ransom and other terrorist activities in the region.
