Musharraf gets exemption from today’s hearing in Judges Detention case

Islamabad- An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad granted exemption to former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf from today’s hearing in judges’ detention case.
ATC Islamabad judge Atiqur Rehman was hearing the judges’ detention case today during which Musharraf’s lawyer Safdar Javaid presented the new medical report of his client. According to the medical report, doctors have restricted Musharraf from traveling and have advised him three weeks rest due to which the accused could not appear in the court. The lawyer, then, pleaded for exemption to his client on medical grounds which were granted by the court.
Later, the court summoned Pervez Musharraf on August 8, 2014 and adjourned the hearing.
