Prove me wrong, Arsalan Iftikhar dares Imran Khan

LAHORE- Arsalan Iftikhar, son of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, today challenged Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan to come forward and prove his charges wrong.

Addressing a press conference here, Arsalan Iftikhar said he had received the copy of Imran Khan’s nomination papers from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and he would take this legal fight to its logical conclusion irrespective of how long it may take.

“A politician is a role model for a nation and whatever he declares in his nomination papers under an oath should be a truth,” he said, adding, “if someone goes to the extent to not declare his own daughter, how he can be expected to protect the daughters of the nation.” To a question, he said there is nothing personal in bringing this issue to limelight, adding, ‘I am fighting this legal battle with evidence.” Reiterating his allegations against the leader of Pakistan’s third largest party, Arsalan Iftikhar said Imran Khan purposely avoided mentioning the name of Tyrian White, who according to him is the latter’s daughter out of the wedlock, in his nomination papers. “Those who preach others should first look into their own character,” he said. Iftikhar intends to file a reference against Khan with a plea that PTI chairman is neither 'Sadiq' nor 'Ameen' as laid out in Article 62/63 of the constitution.
