ISLAMABAD- The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Rawalpindi arrested an accused man, Ghulam Haider, on the charges of cheating and defrauding the public at large.

The accused is allegedly involved in corruption, of corrupt practices by way of defrauding and of cheating the public at large; he received an amount of Rs 26.6 million from the general public and disappeared after paying them profit for some time.

Arrest warrants were issued by Director General (DG) NAB, Rawalpindi. The accused was presented before the Accountability Court Islamabad today and the court granted him a 14-day physical remand.
