Peshawar: At least 10 terrorist were killed today by security forces, during an ongoing operation in the Data Khel area of North Waziristan
Director-General ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa issued a statement that the security forces carried out intelligence based targeted operation, in the hideouts of terrorist located in Data Khel South Waziristan besides the Pak-Afghan border.

At least 10 terrorists were dead in the operation, associated with banned Tehreek Taliban Pakistan and were wanted in various incidents. The successful operation was carried out by security forces in line up with the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azab.

According to ISPR, security forces took control over the area. Weapons and ammunitions and other belongings were taken into custody, by the security forces from the hideout.
The pace of operation was accelerated, after the security forces were martyred in incident. During the previous three days of the operation security forces achieved success in various areas of the province.
