ISLAMABAD- The internal security of the country was reviewed at a high level meeting in Islamabad today. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and various matters pertaining to national security were discussed. The meeting discussed over the formation of a new committee which would be making direct contacts with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Moreover, all stakeholders in the peace talks attended this meeting at the Prime Minister House. The PM would himself finalize names for the new dialogue committee after consultation with the army leadership. The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif‚ Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan‚ Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam.
