SIALKOT: The body of a girl, who was kidnapped in village Bhano Pindi of Daska eight days ago, was found from Marala-Ravi-Link Canal near village Kotli Bawa Faqeer Chand, Pasrur.
Four people had kidnapped Umaira (17) from near her house in village Bhano Pindi. Local people fished out the body from the canal. The incident panicked the local people. Police officials said that the accused kidnapped and killed her after raping the girl. Later, they threw her body to conceal the crime.
District Police Officer (DPO) Abid Khan told newsmen that the police have arrested four accused Muzamal, Mudasar, Waseem and Sajjad nominated in the FIR by victim’s grieved family. DPO added that police have sent the accused behind the bars and further investigations are underway, in this regard.
FIA NABS PASSENGER: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested from Sialkot Airport a passenger who was aimed to reach Canada via Dubai by an international airline on fake visa.
FIA Divisional Deputy Director Ch Khalid Anees said that Zohaib Suhail was trying to travel to Dubai from Sialkot Airport while the officials found his visa fake. The accused told the investigators that he had got the visa of Canada from a Dubai based agent namely Nasir by paying him Rs1.5 million. The FIA sent the accused behind bars after registering a case against him. Meanwhile, the FIA team raided a shopping plaza at Adda Bajwat-Sialkot. The FIA unearthed the massive pilferage of electricity as the accused owner of the shopping plaza was stealing electricity from his neighbour’s meter.–Staff Reporter
