ISLAMABAD- The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today filed a corruption reference in Old Age Benefits Institute (EOBI) scam against former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.

The reference was filed against Ashraf for appointing his son-in-law Azeemul Haq in the World Bank by violating rules and regulations and misusing his authority as prime minister.

In this case, the accused persons are alleged for making illegal appointments during their tenure and causing a loss of Rs 600 million to the national exchequer.
