LAHORE- An application has been filed at Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking a ban on three major political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League (N) and JUI (F).

The LHC on Tuesday sought replies by December 10, 2014 from the three parties concerned. The application was filed by Gohar Nawaz, vice president of PTI’s Lawyers Forum, in which he maintained that these three parties did not hold any intra-party elections violating provisions of the Political Parties Order 2002. Therefore, the applicant sought to impose a ban on these three parties.
