PTI man accused of setting rival's office ablaze

The camp office of a PML-N candidate for the slot of chairman was set ablaze allegedly by the opponent.
On application of the candidate, the police have started investigation.
Qari Hakeemullah, the PML-N candidate for chairman slot of UC, alleged that his rival PTI candidate Amanullah has been involved in the fire incident. On the other hand, PTI candidate Amanullah condemned the fire incident and said that the PML-N candidate's allegations are totally baseless and unfounded. He claimed that by levelling such allegations, the rival candidate wants to pressurise him.
"It is in fact a publicity gimmick and an attempt to get public sympathies," he argued, adding that the PML-N candidate had also resorted to "such cheap tactics" in the past and had levelled false and baseless allegations but failed to prove.
FIA NABS THREE TRAFFICKERS: The FIA arrested three human traffickers during raids carried out at different places on Tuesday.
In Hafizabad, the FIA arrested a human trafficker red-handed receiving money from a citizen. Rana Imran was allegedly receiving Rs153,000 from a citizen for the release of his brother who has been arrested by the Turkish police. It has been learnt that Rana Imran had sent a man abroad who was caught by the Turkish security officials. Later, the trafficker demanded more money from his family to get him release from the Turkish security forces.
In another raid, the FIA arrested a route agent Muhammad Khan from Phalia, Mandi Bahauddin. The raid was carried out following an application by a deportee Tasawar Hussain. In another raid, the FIA arrested accused Anan Shafaqat from Wazirabad. He was allegedly involved in sending citizens abroad on fake documents. The agency said that three cases have already been registered against the accused.
