PESHAWAR - A man was killed and another got injured in a bomb blast at Wana tehsil of South Waziristan Agency on Friday.
A bomb planted by miscreants near Shakai Bazaar of Wana exploded with a bang killing a person and injuring another. The political administration of the agency while confirming the incident said that it was a remote control explosive device.
Soon after the blast, security forces rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the area. The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The security forces have also launched a search operation for the militants.
