FAISALABAD- Punjab government has unleashed an intense crackdown against the activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to prevent them from partaking in the ‘Azadi March’, scheduled on August 14.

Over 12 workers have been arrested by the Punjab police and detained for a month. According to our sources, raids were conducted on the houses of PTI leaders. With the police seeking to round up the maximum number of the activists, majority of PTI leaders and workers have gone underground.
