New cabinets performance to be monitored closely: Awan
RAWALPINDI - Federal Law Minister Dr Babar Awan said that the performance of newly sworn in cabinet would be monitored very closely adding the PPPP-led government would complete its tenure and long term relief would be given to the masses.
Talking to media during his visit on Friday to Liaquat Bagh, where PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto (BB) was assassinated, Babar Awan said agenda for the roundtable conference, called by the President Asif Ali Zardari, would be finalised after consultation.
Dr Baber Awan also laid floral wreath on the Benazir Bhuttos monument and offered Fateha for her departed soul. Today, the rule of the people prevails in the country whereas the judiciary is independent and people are getting their rights.

The Federal Minister said that the oath of new cabinet was a fresh beginning, as it would flourish democracy.
It was very unfortunate that BBs government was not allowed to complete its tenure, but this government would complete its tenure and the interim government would be formed in December 2012, which would be responsible for holding general elections, Awan added.
He said that democracy would be strengthened if the government would go to the people for accountability.
