Islamabad- Awami Muslim Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed predicted today that political parties will be divided from inside the party. He further added that senate elections would be based on ‘selection’ rather than ‘elections’.
Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was speaking to journalists outside parliament house today. He said Pakistan People Party has taken bad decisions before senate election in March.
AML Chief said PPP is not giving importance to members who have given sacrifice for democracy. Selection is done in senate; no election is going to be held in upper house. Preference is given to loyalty, not to characteristics of a candidate.
He supported the view of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar that all madrassas are not involved in terrorism activities, but action should be taken against the law breakers.
Sheikh Rasheed said Pakistan and India world Cup match is our final match. Pakistani Shaheen’s should be victorious in the 15th February match, because the whole nation is eyeing on the mega event match.
