BUNER - A man lost his eye during a scuffle with his relative over a petty issue in district Buner yesterday. Police sources said that the incident occurred in Kalfani village when Akhtar Shah exchanged hot words with his relative over some petty issue. During the fight, accused Abdur Rahman gouged one of the eyes of Akhtar Shah.
He was rushed to emergency ward of District Headquarters Hospital Buner and later shifted to Peshawar Lady Reading Hospital.
Talking to The Nation, District Police Officer Buner Khalid Hamdani informed that there was a money issue between the two parties which resulted in tragic incident.
He said that three persons Muhammad Zuber, Abdur Rahman and Zakir had been arrested while an FIR was registered against them.
One of the relative who is well aware of the incident told that the injured Akhtar Shah allegedly had a bad character and always teased his cousin Abdur Rahman. On Thursday, the incident occurred due to use of some abusive language on money issue, as a result of which Akhtar Shah lost his one eye.
