QUETTA - Three people, including a father and his son were killed in firing incidents in Quetta and Dahdar, on Friday. According to police, armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on a tandoor killing Siraj-ud-Din and his son Abdullah at Kilo Kamlo on Sariab locality. However, motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. In the second incident, a person was killed in Dahdar area of Bolan district. Levies officials said that Ghulam Muhammad and Rahim Jan were on their way in Rind Ali, in Dahdar when armed men sprayed bullets on them. As a result, both received bullet injuries and were being shifted to hospital when Ghulam Muhammad Jan succumbed to his injuries. Levies sources said that investigations were underway to ascertain motive behind the incident. Meanwhile, a passer-by was wounded in two separate blasts in Quetta and Chaman. In the first incident, explosive planted near office of Urban Planning located at Double Road Quetta went off with a huge blast, injuring a person. He was shifted to hospital for medical aid. Law enforcement agencies rushed to the site after the blast and cordoned off the area. The second blast took place, on Rahman Kawal Road, Chaman, bordering Afghanistan. Levies officials said that unidentified people had planted explosives with check post of Levies which exploded with a huge blast and damaged the check post. A mosque located nearby check post also damaged partially in the blast. However, no loss of life reported in the blast. Sources said that Levies personnel were on patrolling when the blast occurred upon which no Levies personnel got injured in the incident.
