GCF demands educational facilities

GUJRANWALA – Immediate measures must be taken to provide proper educational facilities in Gujranwala to bring it at part with other part of the province.
It was demanded in the meeting of Gujranwala Citizens Front (GCF) held here Wednesday to highlight educational problems of the city. The meeting was chaired by GCF Muhammad Chairman Muzaffar Ali.
The meeting demanded opening of a university at Gujranwala.
Muzaffar added that campus of Punjab University at Gujranwala was quite inadequate to meet with educational requirements of the area.  He demanded the Punjab Chief Minister to set up an Agriculture College in the city.  He maintained that BDs classes must be started instantly in Gujranwala Medical College.  He reiterated completion of GMC building along with 1,000 in bed teaching hospital by the end of current fiscal year, so that classes of Home Economics College may be started in the building presently occupied by GMC.
