Nawaz vows new strategic heights for Pak-Saudi ties


ISLAMABAD   -   Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his government would take the close and cordial relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to new strategic heights.Nawaz was talking to Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Mr. Abdul Aziz bin Ibrahim bin Salih Al-Ghadeer, who visited the PM House here on Thursday.The PM said that Saudi Arabia is home to 1.5 million Pakistanis who are contributing heavily for the development of the country through their about $ 3.7 billion remittances per annum. He also appreciated the Saudi leadership for always supporting the people of Pakistan during challenging times. He lauded Saudi Arabia’s important role in promotion of global peace and stability.The Prime Minister conveyed his sincere prayers for the good health of HRH King Abdullah. He also conveyed his greetings to the leadership and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan.
