PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak visited historic parks of Gor Khatri, Wazirbagh and Namak Mandi Bazaar. During his visit to Namak Mandi, the chief minister expressed satisfaction over the arrangements for the proposed food street and directed for opening the food street as soon as possible. He said it would be a gift of the government to residents of provincial metropolis on Eidul Fitr. He said food streets would also create business opportunities in the area. People and shopkeepers chanted welcome slogans on seeing chief executive of the province among them.During his visit to Gor Khatri Park, Pervez Khattak termed it a suitable place for recreation of people as well as establishing another food street there. He directed the officials concerned to bring improvement in the design and construct alleyways to increase utility of the site and make it inviting for the people.The chief minister said that residents of the historic city would witness pleasant changes in current financial year. He said that grandeur of the city would be revived through projects of mass transit and other public uplift schemes. He said that issues related to traffic and sanitation would soon be resolved to facilitate the people. He also visited Wazir Bagh and directed authorities concerned to revamp the park going by its original design.
