Police arrest PO; arms recovered



LAKKI MARWAT - Police claimed to have arrested a proclaimed offender and recovered a hand grenade and a double barrel shot gun from his during a surprise raid on Monday.
“The raid was carried out by a police party of Tajori police station in Kotka Jalat village near the border of frontier tribal region”, said an official. He said that the arrested outlaw Ali Shah was wanted by police in a murder case.
Separately, a police party of Dadiwala police station captured two cattle thieves near Wanda Shahabkhel and recovered five stolen cows from them. “A complainant Haji Sardar reported to police that his cows had been stolen near Wanda Shahabkhel village”, official told.
He said that police started combing the area in search of cattle thieves and stolen cows. He added that the thieves identified as Gul and Ali were later arrested along with five stolen cows in a dry water course.
