ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman met the party chairman Imran Khan Sundayand advised him to part ways from ‘useless’ parliamentary committee tasked to devise Terms of References of commission to probe Panama Papers.
According to sources, Qureshi briefed Imran about the consultations so far held with the government members in the parliamentary committee.
The PTI vice chairman claimed that the government is not serious in chalking out ToR that would also be acceptable for opposition parties, the sources said.
He said that the government is making all out efforts to protect PM’s family from investigation.
“We are well aware of the government’s desire of sidelining Tehreek-e-Insaf,” PTI’s verified Twitter account quoted Qureshi as saying.
“A strategy would be chalked out after consulting the leaders of opposition parties on Tuesday,” he added
