QUETTA - Two Levies officials were gunned down in Naal area of Khuzdar district on Sunday.
Local Levies sources said that unidentified armed assailants opened fire at a Levies checkpost along the Naal-Khuzdar Highway leaving two Levies officials who were on duty critically injured.
"The injured officials succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to hospital," the sources said, adding "The assailants managed to flee after the attack."
Heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies reached the place and cordoned off the area to nab the culprits.
