22 militants killed in NWA airstrikes

Khyber Agency/DATTA KHEL - Pakistan Air Force (PAF) air birds on Sunday killed at least 22 militants in the latest airstrikes and destroyed six of their hideouts in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the fighter jets targeted terrorists’ hideouts near border in Datta Khel area. “As many as 22 terrorists have been killed in airstrikes while six hideouts and an ammunition depot have been destroyed.”
The IPSR stated that operation against militants was continuing in North Waziristan successfully.
TTP ACTIVIST ARRESTED IN KOHAT
The police on Sunday arrested a proclaimed offender Jameel Khan, who was an activist of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), from Nusrat Khel village of Kohat district. The Cantonment police on a tip-off raided the Nusrat Khel village for arresting the TTP activist, who was wanted in a terrorism related case registered at Jerma police station. The police had announced Rs 500,000 head money for his arrest. DPO Kohat Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf announced cash awards alongwith appreciation certificates for the police team which arrested the Proclaimed Offender.
FIVE MILITANTS SURRENDER IN JAMRUD
Five militants laid down their arms and surrendered to the political administration of Jamrud, sources said on Sunday.
The administration official on condition of anonymity while confirming the news said the accused were wanted by the government in different criminal cases and last day they surrendered to the authorities. They were identified as Akhtar Ali son of Muhammad Akhtar, Sher Khan Khel, Nawaz son of Zayart Shah, Musam son of Areed, Hazratullah son of Sherazghar and Essa Khan son of Qamar Shah, Manya Khel.
